Licensed Professional Counselor
LPC-2055
As a counselor, I have experienced beautiful moments with my clients as they discover the roots of their struggles and begin to emerge as their true selves. I am skilled at forming deep, therapeutic relationships that promote positive change and growth.

I attended the University of Wyoming and graduated with a Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2020. I worked with elementary and high school students in Laramie County School District #1 from 2020-2022. I acquired invaluable experience working with children and adolescents while I helped them learn about themselves and discover healthy coping mechanisms for dealing with anxiety, depression, grief and loss.

I am now a private mental health counselor. I believe people inherently want to thrive, and have the skills and knowledge they need to do so. Sometimes we need help learning how to access that knowledge and those skills, and that is where I come in. I am excited to accompany you along your journey of self discovery.

"But science and experience reveal that with self-reflection and understanding, non-ideal patterns we’ve adopted from our own pasts can be transformed. Be patient with yourself and with your family members. With kindness and understanding, to yourself and to others, change can be nurtured and good things can emerge."- Daniel J. Siegel, Brainstorm: The Power and Purpose of the Teenage Brain

My Approach
"We cannot change, we cannot move away from what we are, until we thoroughly accept what we are. Then change seems to come about almost unnoticed.Powerful is our need to be known, really known by ourselves and others, even if only for a moment" - Carl Rogers
I use a humanistic, person-centered approach in my counseling. You are the expert of yourself. My job is to truly know you, and help you accept who you are and become known to yourself, by creating the environment necessary for growth and understanding.

Everyone has experienced some level of trauma in their lives, and because of this I utilize trauma informed care in my all my clinical interactions.I have taken additional trainings for depression and anxiety to understand how to calm these natural defenses. I also have extensive training in Interpersonal Neurobiology by Dan Siegel which helps to explain what is happening biologically in our relationships, and provide strategies to enable you to live in peace and joy.

I am currently working on obtaining certification as a Registered Play Therapist. I work with a supervisor in order to provide the best care for my young clients.
